Position Overview
As an Independent Travel Agent, you will assist clients with researching, planning, and booking vacations including cruises, resorts, hotels, vacation packages, tours, and other travel experiences.
Agents operate as independent contractors and have the flexibility to work part-time or full-time depending on their personal goals and availability.

Responsibilities may include:
Researching and booking travel for clients
Assisting clients with vacation planning
Learning supplier booking systems and travel tools
Sharing travel content on social media
Marketing your travel business online and through referrals
Staying informed about travel promotions and supplier updates
Providing customer support before and after travel
Participating in optional trainings and team meetings
Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity.
Compensation is not hourly or salary-based, and income is not guaranteed. Agents earn income through travel commissions, supplier incentives, affiliate opportunities, and optional leadership bonuses.
Earnings vary based on effort, consistency, bookings, marketing activity, and business growth.
Some agents participate casually for travel perks and supplemental income, while others build larger long-term businesses.

Do I need experience?

No experience is required to get started. Most people who join my team are completely new to the travel industry and begin simply because they love travel, cruising, or helping others plan vacations. You’ll receive access to training, supplier education, booking systems, onboarding support, and mentorship to help you learn step-by-step. The most important thing is being coachable, willing to learn, and consistent as you grow your business.
Can I do this part-time?

Absolutely. In fact, many agents start this business alongside a full-time job, while raising families, or during evenings and weekends. One of the biggest benefits of becoming a travel agent is the flexibility to build your business around your existing schedule. Some people simply want extra income and travel perks, while others eventually grow it into a full-time career. You can grow at a pace that works best for your life and goals.
Do I have to sell to friends and family?

No, and I never want agents to feel pushy or uncomfortable. While some people naturally book trips for friends and family, many agents grow their business through social media, referrals, educational content, and simply sharing their love of travel online. Today’s travel industry is built heavily on relationships and trust, and people often choose to book with someone they feel connected to and comfortable asking questions.
Is this only for cruises?

Not at all. While cruises are my personal specialty and passion, agents on my team can book many different types of travel including all-inclusive resorts, Disney vacations, hotels, rental cars, tours, honeymoons, destination weddings, family vacations, and international travel packages. Many agents choose to specialize in the type of travel they enjoy most, which allows them to build a business that feels authentic to their interests.
How much can I make?

There is no guaranteed income, and this is not a get-rich-quick opportunity, but there are multiple ways to earn including travel commissions, instant commission opportunities, affiliate income, and leadership bonuses. What does it cost to get started?

Starting a travel business does involve an investment in your business tools, training, and credentials. During the information session, I’ll walk you through the startup and monthly costs, explain what’s included, and answer any questions you may have so you can make an informed decision. I believe in being transparent and realistic about both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with building a business.
How quickly can I start booking travel?

Many new agents are able to begin training and setting up their business very quickly after enrolling, and some even book their first trips within the first few weeks. Others choose to spend more time learning the systems and building confidence before actively marketing themselves. There’s no perfect timeline, and everyone grows differently, but with consistency and effort, you can begin building momentum sooner than most people expect.
What countries can agents join from?

At this time, we are able to onboard travel agents in select countries where our agency currently operates and supports independent agents. Applicants must legally reside in one of our approved countries in order to join the team. Current eligible countries include the United States, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Germany, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Spain, Sweden, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, and Uruguay. If you are located outside of these countries, feel free to still reach out, as expansion opportunities may change in the future.
